This album is honestly just an instant shot of serotonin.

I had this recommended to me after getting into Brakence' work and its easily the most infectious and zany work I've heard this year. Just off of tracks like MIDWESTEMO2 & DOGFIGHT I think FROMTHEHEART is stumbling on an extra exciting pocket of sound in the bubblegum bass style and the amount of times I've already replayed each song in the matter of a few days is ridiculous.

Plus, the project stands under 20 minutes and has a few ... read more
This album hit in all of the places I thought it wouldn't, and I admire it for that.
Honestly, looking back, 2020 was a great year for the hyperpop genre. 2019 might've introduced gecs and Dorian, as well as Charli's best record, bit 2020 was a good example of how the genre would probably play out.
if this album was a drug id inject it into my left testicle and it'd start glowing pink.

but fr this album is a short and fun project show casing the production talent of FROMTHEHEART with the vocal talents of multiple hyper-pop artists, while two tracks do end up ending a little prematurely they're still fun while they last. This whole record is just like a direct injection of serotonin to the brain.

MIDWESTEMO2 sports one of the more distorded instrumentals in here with all the shots of super overblown bass and a BANGING hook by Yung Skkrt that has ... read more
pretty cool but nothing to really catch your eye in the ever expanding list of new hyperpop artists.
