Absolutely purified synthpop. Who knew that songs sung in such a low, uninterested voice could be THIS catchy? One or two plays through, and you'll be reaching all the way down into your lowest of registers for a chorus of "Desert Island," I guarantee it!

How can I explain my attraction to the music of Stephen Merritt’s band, The Magnetic Fields? Words for this aren’t readily presenting themselves in my creative process while I type out this intro.
