Sounds pretty bog standard as far as punk rock goes. Nothing particularly unique or exciting, but nothing terrible either. Very much indifferent to this.

Standout: Goodbye Year; Goodbye,
Favs: Free, Strange Life, Star Chambered, Cyrano deBerger’s Back
Least fav: Water & Wine
How is it possible this shows up 30 plus years after their last missive and is just sheer brilliance?
Genre: Punk Rock
Country: US

Final Verdict: 48% (Average Album)
Yearly Ranking: 367th / 412

Highlight: Cyrano deBerger's Back

Made me think of:
Green Day
Dropkick Murphys
Hüsker Dü
New York Dolls
Better than I could have ever imagined
Comeback album of the year for classic LA punk outfit X. Their legendary run of quality albums, their first four, cemented their legacy. Known for their raw electric sound, speed and excellent songwriting, this is no exception; it flows perfectly just like their classics with its rockabilly and 60s garage influences playing a key part as well. It ticks all the boxes for the old punkers of its hayday and the new hipster and indie kid crowd.
