Not gonna lie, the only thing that really compelled me to hear this project was Fivio's verse on "Off The Grid", which goes incredibly hard. That got me thinking, though, how unfamiliar I was with the NY-rapper's solo work, so I decided to dive into "800 BC", a project that, although concise and inclusive of a couple punchy verses, ultimately doesn't do too much to stand out amongst from its contemporaries. This tape goes hard, but every time I listen to it I just remember Pop Smoke 😔
A little one note, Fivio's debut is great for certain moods, but lacks any array of sound. Beats are heavy, and fivio definitely brings a ton of energy.
EDIT: Lil Tjay features do not miss
Best Songs: Drive By, Ambition
Worst Song: Issa Vibe
Fivio Foreign is the definition of lit.

Crazy how just adlibs can single-handedly make a whole artist. In Fivio's case, his adlibs make him a very hard rapper to hate, and it's very easy to get trapped into his high energy drill flows. The drill production here makes Fivio's rapping fall right into place, and I actually liked autotune "Issa Vibe" near the end.
