Ever since I discovered AOTY, I loved to scroll through the new releases tab. Not on music release Friday, but on other days. There's always something great to discover on there, like the recent Asher Gamedze EP which I really enjoyed. So when I was scrolling through this tab today, the cover of this album really spoke to me, so I decided to look it up. And look at that, this project is really great. I really love this website. His flow is consistent and smooth, and he has plenty of memorable bars, but his sound can often feel blatantly derivative. His more bodacious tracks take heavy inspiration from ... read more
