On one hand, ‘For You’ is 2020’s most joyous release so far, full of beaming rave weapons and would-be summer festival anthems landing at the perfect time. But at its vulnerable heart, India’s largest body of work to date is as much a love letter to themselves.
An ode to the transformative impact of rave culture released at a time when clubs aren’t able to open their doors, ‘For You’ somehow taps into both the promise of personal redemption dance music can offer, and the widespread sense of loss at being shut out from these experiences.
First off, who drops an ep on a Wednesday? Second off, this is surprisingly good. It makes me wanna dance even though it may not be the most inventive music of the year. Digging this India Jordan!

This EP is full of house bangers, and does not let the energy diminish throughout its 30 min. run. There are some songs in here that are little more abstract that focus atmosphere with wooshing synth sounds and interesting progression, whoever it does not feel like its moving forward in anyway, instead it is treading ground that has already been covered before, and at some points it might feel too repetitive.
