I completely whiffed on this one last year. this is brilliant. I listened to it on repeat this weekend and it is so well conceived and put together that I am stunned. the production is flawless. "Melt" is one of the greatest songs ever recorded, and that's no exaggeration. I didn't know about this until a few days ago but I don't get the lukewarm reception that everyone is giving this. I'm really tempted to give it 100. EDIT: done.

what a devastating trip it is to listen to this album... i haven't been able to not think about it since it came out. something about Forever Blue is really addictive and just by thinking about it something inside me shifts... well fuck. i dont really know how to describe what i'm feeling.

Well, this isn't bad at all. I actually enjoyed most of it. At points, this can become a bit formulaic and it's not too hard to guess the direction it's going. Given that this is a debut, I'm actually pretty impressed. This album has a lotttttt of buildup, and it can be pretty successful like on track 2.
