Warm & soft, this album by Owen was enjoyable. However, I think it lacked depth and wasn't as emotionally powerful as some of Mike's other work. Its still a fine album, and if your into pretty folk music I'm sure youll enjoy this more than I did, but to me it just felt kinda meh. I also want to point out that there were a couple moments in the lyrics that stood out as not making sense at all, notable the very beginning of I Should've Known. Warm as fuck, a fucking winter landscape. A moment to feel comfortable inside. This guy always know how to made the cold ambient, but at the same time the warm to get all the road in a deep breath folk and minimalist great music
