Perhaps Owl Pharaoh’s sole drawback is that it still doesn’t quite seem to answer the question “Who exactly is Travi$ Scott?”. Luckily for him, this incredibly cohesive debut is so mesmerizing that everyone should want to find out.
Despite the plethora of hype building under this Texas MC and producer, Travis Scott's Owl Pharaoh doesn't sound like much more than a rap demo that bites its influences a little too hard.

I can see the potential and where thought was put into “Owl Pharaoh” in a lot of pockets, however I think this has some of the most major issues of any Travis album period. For one, many of these songs just flat out suck ass. It's crazy that he really did take whatever good ideas were here and actually fully realized them 10 years later.
people saying that the production is bland are straight up wrong becuase all of the songs have uniqe styles and beats. But with saying that the production is also a bit dated in some places.

Travis Scott is a game-changing rapper. However, this project feels as if he doesn't know how to use autotune.
