A solid album of really fun tunes which pay loving tribute to 80’s pop rock - Cars-esque power pop choruses, gated reverb drums galore, and Nicolas Petricca’s vocal yelps which echo of David Byrne. This band had much more than just “Shut Up and Dance”, and it’s unfortunate most of the world never got to see that.

Highlights: Shut Up and Dance, Up 2 U, Avalanche, Work This Body, Spend Your $$$

Walk the Moon have likely progressed in exposure with this album, but as far as creativity goes, it's down in the depths of disaster. The album is plastered with some of the most gimmicky lyrics and borrowed new wave.
