How can I is not as thematically coherent or straight-up enjoyable as IF U WANT IT, but it is considerably more inspiring in its experimentation—a challenge, perhaps, to a house-music scene too happy in stasis.

How Can I is a nonstop bumping ep that was made me wanna dance through the whole 20 minute runtime. She did a really good job of not making the whole thing go on for too long and get repetitive and stale, instead each track kept getting me in a better mood. Underrated ep and house project.

Its hypnotizing and great study music, but on its own for what it is it's decent. The vocals could definitely do more and still keep that minimal feel.

A really nice EP to lay on bed and watch the roof for 20 minutes straight.

I love house, I love deep house, I love chill beats. Therefore, I love this project.

Vocally this is not exactly amazing but that's alright. The production is actually a nice highlight here, house vocals don't need to be exactly outstanding.

Don't mind me, I'm just straight VIBING.

I Don't Like NO that much because I feel it is completely out of place. But still it has really good ideas and production.

i thought i'd return to this more often, but no. "like this" is the only track that i've consistently returned to.

original review:
how can i is a really good deep house ep, and i don't really know what else to say other than i liked it. i liked park hye jin's experimental take on the genre, and i liked how danceable the whole thing was anyway.

As a massive fan, I feel a little deflated. This doesn’t really do a whole lot to reignite that lovely fusion of house and saccharine sweet writing that made her first EP so great. There aren’t any jams like abc, or defining cuts like I don’t care. Feels like Park is lagging behind her cohort.
