Okay so the title is apt... this album is very creepy. It's also very disturbing, but in a fun way, kind of like an old 50's Hitchcock movie or a 70's body horror where it's not taking itself super seriously, yet still manages to strike up some tension in the camerawork and music. Man, I revisited this album and I am kind of obsessed with it. The eeriness of the instrumentals is so addicting to me it's done almost perfectly. The vocals and lyrics are also very emotional and go well with the creepy atmosphere of the whole thing. Pretty much a perfect title as a description of what to expect from this album. I might bump the score up some time soon I really kind of can't get enough of it.

Has the usual TT ‘sun baked slightly surreal desert mirage in the day / The Doors downing whiskies sat in the hotel bar after closing time’ noir vibe.

Maybe not their absolute strongest album but I’m still on board.
