Royce has always been one of Detroit hip-hop's best lyricists, who can often be overlooked. Having grown up on a heavy supplement of Detroit emcees, I'll admit I had stopped following Royce aside from his great year in 2011 with 2 excellent LPS, yet his undeniable rejuvenation with DJ Premier packs a more powerful punch than any of his solo LPs or Bad Meets Evil.

This is pretty much everything I expected of this album. Nice punchlines and overall verses from Royce, backed with some fantastic production covered with DJ scratches from DJ Premier.
Short enough to not get boring and drag on, and the features provide some diversity as well. PRhyme, Dat Sound Good, Wishin', and To Me To You are my stand-out songs here. This album was fire.
