I refuse to believe that people aren't paying attention to Thanya Iyer because they dislike her, but because of ignorance of her existence. Listening to KIND, you get the sense that it's so complex, bucking the formulaic patterns of music, yet so majestic that it would be impossible to not feel something from. An ambitious project, 'KIND' displays complexity throughout eleven mesmerizing tracks.

Thanya Iyer's beautiful voice is part of what makes this record so hypnotic. However, her vocals come across as slightly monotonous after several listens. On the other hand, her skills on the violin steal the show at all times, making the most memorable and sonically interesting bits of the LP.
