What could possibly be the reason for this album. I just do not understand it. Tea for the Tillerman is one of the most cozy and heartfelt albums of the 70s. I love this album but like, why? was this necessary? does this improve upon the original? (the answer is no)
Tea for the Tillerman with updated production and new, almost Eels inspired, instrumentals added to it. No one really asked for it, but here it is. Honestly it's not the worst thing I've ever heard. Conceptually I'm not really that on board with it because it seems like rehashing and trying to fix an album that really didn't need that much fixing. In execution, it's a pretty mixed bag. It's okay, I like the idea of this and how it is presented. Just nothing really too amazing off this. Just I feel like why is this a thing, but it is welcomed as a nice homage to Cat Stevens.
