DIY

His pining craft, all jazzy guitar shapes and heart-stung pleas, feels remarkably well-realised.

NME

‘Wachito Rico’ exudes a breadth of musicianship that proves Boy Pablo is no flash in the pan, despite having found viral fame overnight. This magnificent debut confirms that Lady Luck – and YouTube algorithms – couldn’t have smiled on a more deserving individual.

Alright I'm going to say it. This is the easy listening schlock of the 2010s. Yeah in the same way Andy Williams, Michael Bolton, Michael Bublé is to there respective generations, that's what bedroom pop has become. ... read more
