Throughout much of The Ghost Inside, Vigil's pensive lyricism produces sincere reflections on suffering, self-doubt and sacrifice.

For the most part ... this is The Ghost Inside getting back to the largely straightforward, undeniably powerful mix of metal and hardcore they have always done so well.

They also got bombed by #MeToo and a lot of controversy within 48 hours of this album being released, which makes it harder to give them praise when it matters. And with the album being released during a worldwide pandemic, the ... read more
