Quite simply, there really isn't anything else on earth that compares to this truly unique, enchanting piece of music.

Life has so much more to give,
Even for the sins you may forgive.
There’s still something out there for you,
Not all is turmoil, there’s some left to do.

The darkest days run through your head,
The restless nights in your bed.
Thinking about all the times that were great,
Not knowing what the future was to create.
To make life so much less enjoyable,
Prolonged pain unavoidable.

“Long Season” made me realize,
Life has much more to mesmerize.

Live for yourself,
Not for ... read more

Long season is such a beautiful, transcendent, unique and inspiring 35 minute journey. I've struggled with a lot of Fishmans previous releases, possibly due to a lot of the reggae inspired stuff being complete non-starters for me, but Long season is a completely different story and seemingly blows everything else the band has done out of the water. from start to finish the album is a consistently gorgeous listen, with incredible layering and instrumentation. There are some incredibly catchy ... read more

I mean this is about as close as music can get from just sounding plain out perfect. These 35 minutes of pure mesmerization feels as if it goes by in a flash. I listen to this whenever I go on long rides, need something to sleep to, want to relax to something, want to think, I mean the point of I listen to this for a lot of occasions. I remember the first time hearing this being completely blown away, and going back to it now I still feel that exact same way. ... read more

One of the best first time listens to an album I've ever had. When the leitmotifs from the start came back in at the end I wanted to ascend.
I was stepping out of my comfort zone yesterday, when I decided to listen to it. I was looking at a list of short albums because I had to squeeze three into a 100 minute period, and so I chose this one. I was immediately put off by the fact that it was only one track, but I decided against my mind to listen to it anyway.
I'm so glad I did.
