I didn't even have time to appreciate everything that happened here, because it didn't let me breathe for one fucking second. I felt so emotional yet so full of adrenaline. The contrast of this album is incredible. Now THIS is how metalcore should be like
Definitely enjoyed this album, even if it is on the shorter side. Currents has been innovating the metalcore genre with their deathcore-inspired musicianship, but metalcore vocals, bringing a fresh spin on the metalcore genre. For this effort, the band explored the downward spiral in an interesting way. Production and musicianship were both good, even if some songs were on the more forgettable side. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a really heavy sound.

this is some good stuff right here. i first found this band and didn't like it but i was a metal noobie back then and now i can listen to this stuff, and i liked it
I decided to give this album a shot because it was so highly recommended in a "best of 2020" thread on /r/metalcore.

They do mix a lot of different influences, and weave several different threads of metal together. It has some promising elements for sure. But nowhere does it really hook you in.
