Definitely enjoyed this album, even if it is on the shorter side. Currents has been innovating the metalcore genre with their deathcore-inspired musicianship, but metalcore vocals, bringing a fresh spin on the metalcore genre. For this effort, the band explored the downward spiral in an interesting way. Production and musicianship were both good, even if some songs were on the more forgettable side. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone looking for a really heavy sound.

Starts off pretty strong, but slowly loses its momentum with each track that passes by. I was interested on this album because of the single Poverty of Self, and while I was expecting something more deathcore influenced, it's still okay.
