Bully’s SUGAREGG can be vulnerable, but Bognanno’s latest collection of songs is built to last.

The Line of Best Fit
It’s a product full of joy, not maddening, but genuinely uplifting and encouraging. It’s also the best thing Bognanno has written.

Loud and Quiet

Where she previously sounded coiled with frustration and injustice, SUGAREGG is characterised by a level of controlled anger – like the loosening of tension in the process has translated into a more concentrated outcome.

Exclaim!
Simply put, Bully knows how to make music for feeling young and utterly confused, sometimes hopeless, and ultimately, completely alive.

Rolling Stone
The great Nineties-loving band’s latest is their most self-assured album yet.

Nashville-based indie rock band Bully is one of those bands that barrow a lot from 90’s alternative rock more aggressive sound and quiet loud dynamic and so far had delivered on two promising earlier albums, but something changed in preparing for album three. Principal songwriter and frontwoman Alicia Bognanno had always struggled with depression, but it was now becoming a hurdle in her songwriting, so she decided to dump the rest of the band and start a new as a solo project, while still ... read more

This is so incredibly bland and generic. Not a single song stand out.
