This is my 200th review! Exciting times. I've tried to rate this based not on the whimsy associated with the film and based it on the music alone. This is a twee little album and has some lovely moments on it, none more so than the big hit from the film.

Essential Track - I am a Man of Constant Sorrow.
This is said by my parents to be my first album as it was used as a substitute for church during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Since then I’ve grown out of country in search of more substantial and interesting genres, though I still like some country. However, after this “first” listen, this transcends the title of country.
