It's time for me to come out as *gasps* a nerd. Nightfall in Middle-Earth is the first album that I've ever been into, even before I really started listening to music. I came across it on some fandom space about The Silmarillion (that's what this album is lyrically about). Heh, we all find our way to music somehow.

Great album, but not my favorite of Blind Guardian's catalogue. To me it features a lot of classic songs, but the album feels a bit long despite being around the same length as most of their albums and less consistant than what I would consider their masterpieces(Imaginations, Opera, etc).
