Something impressive about this album but it's still made for people who refer to anyone in a band as a 'minstrel', while barmaids are of course dismissed as 'wenches', and who just wish reality could more closely resemble 'He-Man' in general.

Imaginations from the Other Side is often regarded as one of the best power metal of all time and when I may not necessary agree. I would still consider it to be one of the more better power metal records out there. Out of all the Blind Guardians records, Imaginations is easily the bands heaviest sounding record but maintains that high energy fantasy filled power which the genre is know for to create a thrilling experience throughout.

On their 5th album, Blind Guardian released what I consider to be their best work up to that point. I’m one of the few who preferred their aggressive Thrash/Speed days on their first two albums to the more polished and melodic albums that followed (though this is mostly because they always had useless interludes bloating them).
