'Il mio canto libero' is pared back for Lucio and you could label this the most tasteful and restrained Battisti release - 'Io vorrei ... Non vorrei ... Ma se vuoi' is the obvious highlight and hints at an artist really relaxing into their song writing and composing increasingly epic arrangements.
Certainly it remains one of his most beautiful tracks.
