God Is in the TV
Not a note is misplaced here – it’s like being massaged by melody, and you feel utterly refreshed by the time it’s finished.

Uncut
A new approach pays dividends for Americana's great survivors.

Mojo
This, deliberately, was a band effort. And it shows in the diversity and quality of the songs.

The Arts Desk

Like much of their best work XOXO is a low-key yet gorgeously effective record.

PopMatters

XOXO succeeds at proving the band is more than an assemblage of talented players.

I liked this album quite a bit. It felt like a good introduction to the Jayhawks and Alt Country. I enjoyed all of the songs but it felt a little forgettable for me towards the middle but got better again in the end. In the middle it started to feel like background music that was pretty good. It started off great though. I'm excited to explore more of the Jayhawks and Alt Country. Favorite Track: Dogtown Days
