Yeah I don't see the hype in this guy, sure he has a lot of potential but fails to tap into it on most of this projects. The production is good and the rapping is solid but it just made me bored out of my mind wishing for something more interesting. He reminds me of earl but less energy and way less interesting lyrics.

A very nice, honest mixtape of redveil kind of experimenting with different sounds but still making some nice songs. It helps that the best song here is my name, and the outro of that song uses smooth & jazzy saxes that helped elevate his later projects into a fantastic sound that I absolutely love. I tried listening too this a few weeks ago and found it so uninteresting. Decided to give it a more focused listen as this is the last record out of the three projects from him I haven't given a full listen too. Yeah I'm sorry but this is just not for me, Redveil's newest album 'Learn 2 Swim' is great because of how full of life it is, the production and the writing while his debut 'Bittersweet Cry' is a 24 minute soonzefest of an artist with potential who is trying too find his own sound.
