Simone has an uncanny ability to make almost every song here feel like her own, written by her hand, even when they aren't. Simply arranged and emotionally performed to incredible effects. Whether it's a soaring vocal line (What More Can I Say?) or an arresting lyric (Four Women), Simone renders the audience jaw-dropped, stunned, and breathless by the album's conclusion.
