FAVORITE TRACK: My Best Friend

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: Things I Thought Were Mine

A pretty innocent and forgettable indie pop EP. The vocals are good and the songs are catchy but there's really no substance.

An EP set out to make some undeniable bops and succeeding at that. There’s nothing extremely deep or nuanced here which caps the ceiling, but it is an enjoyable collection of songs that are easily replayable. The production here is impressive from the young musician. The last 3 songs were exponentially better than the first.

Highlight – ‘Obvious Guy’

A fun little EP--not a lot of substance mind you, but certainly fun. "Happiness in Liquid Form", "Obvious Guy", and "My Best Friend" are all catchy as heck. Minus points for a guy as young as Alfie complaining about "Wishing I Was Younger", though.

This recent EP shows a lot of potential from Alfie Templeman. He offers a good look into relationship problems and human understanding, along with an amazing range of instruments and styles. From the psychedelic vibe of the title track to the xylophone keyboard on “Things I Thought Were Mine” to the Britpop guitar arrangements on “Maybe This Is Time”.

Fave Tracks: "Happiness In Liquid Form"; "Things I Thought Were Mine"
