Lecrae is perfecting the craft of trap gospel on some of these tracks. The self reflection on the lyrics are evident and beautiful. Some features sound really weird on these tracks even though I'm convinced (and mock me if you want) that Keep on Going was asking for a Lil Baby feature.

I don’t typically seek out Christian rap, but this newest album from Houston-based rapper Lecrae had a lot of redeeming qualities about it. Restoration is his tenth studio album overall and it boast many quality bars from Lecrae that has him look towards his faith along the many obstacles that come his way. i...unlike most people i know, don't dislike Christian Music.
i occasionally find it soothing, comforting, and (while rarely) even moving.
that said...a lot (and i mean a lot!) of Contemporary Christian Music can feel (for lack of a better word) ‘lazy’.
both lyrically and sonically. sometimes it gets worse and feels outright cheap...which i don’t think an all-mighty creator would appreciate.
