What a fucking great week it has been for music!
Whilst my life has been crumbling consistently, the music has just been getting better soooooo....

Anyway, this Billy Nomates release took me by surprise! I'm happy to say that this concise LP has some of the sharpest and most charismatic songwriting I've heard this year! YAY!

The best thing about this album is the melange of genres. While it is largely rooted in post-punk and electronica, there is a bit of blues and even some chap hop thrown in. Apart from that, there's hardly anything memorable.

Some of the lyrics are actually very strong and clever, but that doesn’t always make up for the bland production and underwhelming vocals.
