To be serious, seeing Liv.E live was a pretty cool experience. Alongside MIKE, she opened for Earl Sweatshirt's Fire'd Up Tour in November of 2019. Her stage presence was sexy, with a voice that of an angel. The tracks that she performed were inspired by traditional R&B styling rather than influences from her acquaintances. A solid debut album that sees Liv.E developing a hazy psychedelic neo-soul album. Liv.e incorporating elements of dream pop, jazz and vapourwave is a nice touch making this album a pleasant but moody listen. Unlike her last tape on Hoopdreams her vocal talents are more upfront in here and is one of the strengths on this tape. Liv.e has built a cohesive, fast moving album that blends a variety of sounds charmingly. The end result is another reminder that, in the case of the album, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Liv.E's style conveys wisdom through a lens of lighthearted existentialism, most of the tracks on this project are love songs that pivot between cynicism and wide-eyed infatuation.
