This song is very special to me. The only reason its not a 100 is i prefer the anime opening version to the full song. However, this song has saved me numerous times now. I have never watched lain before, I got a lot of friends who do, but I honestly find all the culture and memes about it to be kinda annoying and overdone. I'm currently watching Lain and this song just hits my soul in a spot that has previously gone un-itched. It's melancholic but not sad, cynical but not hopeless, introspective but grand. Definitely a fitting song for the show and my playlist.
