i get the idea behind its title track and trying something new, but the two tracks it fuses (monster and infinity) are absolutely stronger individually lmao
past that, super one is filled with the typical vocal standard from a super group of SM's best male vocalists (jonghyun DEFINITELY would be in superm) over, again, the typical SM standard of kpop instrumentals that have full awareness and control over which vocals are best suited to different parts of the track

Update: Tracks like Drip, So Long, and With You have grown on me. After my third listen I honestly had a blast with a bunch of great pop tunes. Great performances but still could have used more ambition. The tracks I hated from the beginning I still hate but they only make up 20% of the album.

It's funny how last year their album wasn't westernized at all. It brought the core SM sound to everyone. One year later we get an album with 50% American pop
