Easily the best album The Front Bottoms have put out since they were signed to the label Fueled By Ramen, In Sickness & In Flames has some of the same catchy songwriting and sincerity that were featured on their self titled album and Talon of the Hawk. Those two albums have stuck with me for some time from the group and allowed the group to blow up in the music scene. Well, blow up in small sects of a listening fan base, but you have to admit that the fans they have procured are pretty ... read more

Track for track solid indie rock with a strong Modest Mouse vibe to it that really throws back to the genre's glory days.

LEAST FAVORITE TRACK: the truth

For what it is, this record is too long at just twelve tracks. "new song d" and "love at first sight" drag on FAR beyond what's satisfying. There are some fun tracks ... read more

The Front Bottoms have been my favorite band to grow up and mature alongside with. In Sickness & In Flames shows that the edge has dulled in favor of harmony. The lyrics are still simple and fun. The music still drives my body between dancing and moshing.

I enjoyed this album more than I was expecting, and couldn't be more pleased.
