Where do I start with this one? This is the band capturing lightning in a bottle for the first time fully since Apollo 18. This still remains to be one of the bands’ strongest efforts 15 years later, and it can all be summed up in the first track, “Experimental Film.” Creative chord progressions, esoteric lyrics, a hook you can’t forget, varied sonic textures and timbres that don’t clash in any way, and a key-change bridge (very necessary), all in just under 3 ... read more

This album isn't anything fancy, but they might be giants still deliver a pretty cohesive and diverse album. Unfortunately, it seems like for every amazing song on here, there are some bad and outright annoying ones too.
