With Adventure, Madeon’s debut LP, the producer presents a strikingly versatile collection. In a landscape filled with hot-on-paper-but-kinda-"eh" collaborations between big name vocalists and hip producers, Madeon deploys his guests with a stirring effectiveness.

Full of bounding electronic pop, Adventure featured numerous guest spots.

Adventure exposes the unavoidable give-and-take between pleasure and pain, the loss and (yes) adventure of youth. When the two come crashing together, sometimes the result makes it worth the struggle. Your feet may agree.

Adventure shows a lot of promise and will please a lot of fans, but as of now, that promise has yet to be truly fulfilled.

As 'Adventure' progresses the constant energy begins to become wearing, as if he's on a Red Bull drip while we're just drinking plain old water. In fact, by the end, listening to 'Adventure' is like being held hostage by a madman who, despite everyone wanting to go home, just refuses to let the party die.

It's undeniable that this album and Worlds draw upon many parallels. Madeon and Porter Robinson are incredibly close to each other, they make pretty similar music (for the most part), and their fanbases are almost one in the same. UNPOPULAR OPINION: This and Worlds Do not beg to be compared like thousands of others say. I feel that opinion is only so popular because Porter And Madeon are best friends and their fanbases are one. If anything, good faith is more similar to Worlds than this is.

Anyway, This album is pretty great. It's pretty repetitive in some areas and some songs are boring. But Pixel Empire, Home, innocence... all of these are really good. madeon was a little too young to throw all of his ideas into an ... read more
i knew this guy only because of the fifa soundtrack. and this album isn't all that cohesive, but by house album standards, it kinda is tight ngl
"Adventure" impressed me with how instantly likable it was. Madeon's brand of bright, blissful EDM is a joy to experience. Every guest here is a fantastic, especially Passion Pit and Mark Foster. When I first found Madeon, I was lured in by those two features and thought it was so cool that he worked with my favorite two artists at the time.

If you like your electronic music to be overflowing with bright colors, Madeon is a must listen.
French house producer Madeon comes through with his debut, Adventure. As a huge fan of the house scene, especially French house, I'm slightly disappointed with this record. It's not a bad album, by no means, however I feel all this album presents is some funky fresh house tracks with mediocre vocals plastered on top. Some tracks felt unnecessary and leaving them out would hardly make a difference. There were a few stand out tracks that made my ass shake quite a bit though. Overall, a decently ... read more
