AllMusic

Without words or structures, A Year with 13 Moons translates a wealth of emotional content, achieving the rare feat of communicating pain, loss, yearning, and nostalgia with a noisy sonic palette that few can turn into anything besides confusion and chaos.

A Year With 13 Moons is certainly a must-hear for those who favour their consonance shaded with a dollop of playful dissonance.

13 Moons is a celebration of fading detail, a reminder that we’ll only ever continue to forget.

My suggestion: This type of record will clear a way in a New York minute. ☆☆☆ ~ Remarkable album. I feel engaged with this consistent and deeply satisfying music in a wholly compelling unique way.

Good ambient album, really dark and atmospheric. Not an album for the ambient first-time listener, tho.
