Idiot Pilot's debut album, 'Strange We Should Meet Here' was released as the duo freshly departed high school. At the time of the album's release in 2004, alternative rock was trendy for teens to listen to, the most notable group being Radiohead. The two teens that made up the alt-rock outfit Idiot Pilot were big fans of the early 2000s alt-rock wave. They aren't shy of showing who influences them on their debut.
