Short on both ideas and execution, TattleTales pads out its few serviceable tracks with songs that are either boring, corny, or both. A more inspired artist could have turned a complex experience like the one 6ix9ine went through into an interesting and reflective work of art. TattleTales, unfortunately, maintains 6ix9ine's aesthetic of ignorance, bluster, and willful stupidity.
Listening to TattleTales is like volunteering to be trolled, and it may not even succeed on that front.
If TattleTales will probably be a great commercial success, this new album looks like a failed parody of its own character, supporting the same stereotypes, using the same stupid formulas, all that with no possible relevance anymore.
