FANTASTIC
While I wouldn't call this Voivod's masterpiece like others might, Dimension Hatröss is still a highlight of early progressive thrash. It's also the start of the alt-metal experimentation the band would go even deeper into on Nothingface, Angel Rat, and The Outer Limits (a personal favorite).
great and experimental in every aspect, this album further reinforces the band's ability to play with dissonance and sound in general creating an alienating and potent atmosphere
Just mind blowing, this would have been a masterpiece in the catalogue of almost any other band - for Voivod it is just another great record. This Band is more. As it´s almost impossible to count the time signature changes it seems even more impossible to sound that "organic". This band is an organism of crazy quality .
