A real solid 30-ish minutes of very unique sounding synthpop. The best way I can describe it is... underwater. That's literally what the instrumentals sound like, and it's really cool.

an Ambient-Pop Trap mixtape?

whatever it may's absolutely gorgeous.

Ambient music in general, while a genre i like, isn't always my cup of music tea.

at it's best, for me, it's beautiful, moving, haunting and even emotionally devastating in the best way possible (see Minecraft Volume Alpha).

a magnificent body of work, and a truly stellar debut output. she slightly reminds of banks with her experimentation on hip hop beats, the subtle glitchy elements and her honey-like, soft and mellow vocals. the tracks featured are all dizzling, almost ghostly in a sense, like a faint figure lurking in the shadows. the colors are dark, gloomy and somber, but they're vibrant and beautifully saturated; from more abstract, slow tracks to more poppy and easy going bops, oklou's got it all covered ... read more
