Bbymutha explores the weird and obscene with a serious undertone that strikes balance into her craft. It's a raw expression of womanhood and self-confidence layered in mysticism.
Although it tends to be a bit one-note, it's a note that very few artists hit, despite it's occasionally odd mixing.

It's a pretty long album but really worth the listen. Bbymutha's verses ooze with self-confidence and charisma, you can't help falling in love with her and her interesting world.

Trying to get back to some of the 2020 highlights I haven't reviewed yet. This one was excellent, definitely one of the better produced underground albums this year with a crisp mainstream sound. bbymutha is definitely a name to watch, she deserves more critical and mainstream hype than she's gotten although she's incredibly well respected in underground circles. Somehow completely missed this release on my list. This is probably my favorite project she's done in her career. I love how she pairs the horror aesthetic of the production with brash sex positive lyrics, it's unexpected but it fits really well.
