Dead Kennedys' final studio album proves to be a boring, clumsily stitched together nothing album filled with as much filler as the group could come up with after their tedious trial.

Where Dead Kennedys' previous successes proved that they were a punk band who could make music that didn't have to be the repetitive mess of their contemporaries, Bedtime For Democracy falls under many of the exact same traps as every bad punk album in existence. Dead Kennedy's last release, and it's not a bad album, dropping the surf rock influence and making the song more shorter and snapper is a nice change but it ultimately fails to stick out as much as their first 2 records. With too many songs, the record can feel a bit tedious and over stretched, but does contain some fun catchy tunes but nothing as memorable as their other records.
