What a good surprise!
Best tracks: Good Luck With Whatever, Between the Zero and the One, Didn't Fix Me
A few of the early tracks came off a little cheesy and conventional, in my opinion. However, as the record went on, the tracks seemed to become more appealing both in terms of sound and lyrics. Tracks like "St. Augustine at Night" and "Free as We Wanna Be" ended up becoming the most notable highlights for me, personally.

Good Luck with Whatever marks the seventh studio album for American folk-rock band Dawes and it finds the band dealing with weighty lyrical themes of growing wiser with age and the over reach of consumerism, over pretty easy going songs that should please any fans already familiar with their sound. Cool mix of classic rock and alt-country vibes - reminded me of Jackson Browne, Tom Petty and The Band.
