I wish I counted EP's into my 2020 ranked lists, because this would be very high up. This is meditative, calm, beautiful, healing. A gorgeously arranged piece of jazz and Neo-soul with blissful, soft guitars and amazing percussion, as slauson raps and sings with a level of chill that makes this sound absolutely effortless.

"Coping or dealing with the past" is my rough translation of Vergangenheitsbewältigung from my year in Germany.

Say what you want bout the man, but Slauson is undeniably a unique talent. These tracks are influenced by so many different sounds and genres from bedroom pop to sound collage to hip-hop, Slauson Malone's music almost transcends genres. At least for now, maybe moving on this'll spark some new musical movement. I certainly hope so...

Smile #6 is so good what the fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, everything else is alright to be honest but Smile 6 is another level. This one seemed to be less experimental than his 2019 stuff and I kinda like that. At the same time it isn't as good or entertaining to me now, sometimes it's honestly forgettable but I enjoyed my stay
