Some absolute bops on this record. You cannot tell me that In waves, Dusk Dismantled, Chaps reigns and Drowning in Slow Motion dont go hard. To boot, Caustic are the ties that bind, forsake not the dream, built to fall all feel like classic trivium but with an extra step added. The production is clean, the solos are catchy yet technical, the riffs go hard, and the vocals are crazy good. This trivium near their live peak as well, and it certainly shows on this recording
This is probably my favorite Trivium effort due to the fact that it blends a lot of ideas together and makes for a very consistent listen. Trivium is coming back to the highs similar to this album in their more recent iterations, but this still remains a staple in their discography.
This album starts incredibly strong but it gets boring in the second half, too long and clearly they put the better material on the beginning.
Cool artwork tho.
Apart from the fact that the cleans sound ridiculously overproduced, I don't have much to complain about this album. On the other hand, I don't that much good stuff to say. In fact, the main problem here is that nothing really stands out, either for the better or for the worse.

The more I listen to this albums tracks the more impressed I get, from the blistering opener to shattering the skies above. The album is full of trivium's heaviest material. Which gives it a very important spot both in their discography and in their live shows. incredibly underrated
