Shoutout to @waffles, thank so much for recommending this to me

Rossz Csillag Alatt Született (Hungarian for "Born Under a Bad Star") is the 12th studio album from Canadian electronic music producer Venetian Snares. It was released in March 2005, having been recorded in 2004.

The album was inspired by a trip to Hungary where VS imagined himself as a pigeon on Királyi Palota (Royal Palace) in Budapest, hence why the album & track titles are in Hungarian. It combines ... read more

Rossz csillag alatt szuletett is a special album that mixed modern classical compositions with breakcore which is a genius idea and executed excellently. Venetian Snares mixed these genres in a very equal way that both genres. So modern classical elements felt well done, with a lot of passion. And breakcore elements are as fast energetic and in your face as possible. Overall this is fresh air in the genre and I hope I will discover more albums like this.

Now yeah it might sound crazy but they're mentioned in the album, they're on the cover and... ok maybe the theme is something else because the track titles translate to stuff ... read more

One of the craziest genre fusion albums I've ever heard. The progression on Hajnal and Második Galamb is absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely loving this album.
