This Loona New Year has not been good. (Pun very intended pls laugh)

Loona while already making a name for itself, for better or for worse, is technically still a 2-year group, Their full debut was in 2018. It's easy to expect a lot more from them due to their solo or sub-unit activities, but they're currently, still, a group trying to find their sound.

Wow I really wanted to enjoy this EP a lot more. I really liked some of their older sub-unit stuff, and till this day I am still begging ... read more
B-sides are absolutely fantastic, Voice (both versions)
and Universe are probably my favourite songs of the year so far. I love this kind of sound

Only the single is, I don't even know how to say it, a little bit weird. I have the same problem with it as with So What. It sucks a bit because the singles of a ... read more
Ok since most of you guys are the tweet shit like “kpop=Kpoop” and think you’re the most funny person alive, this album slaps, hell kpop as a genre slaps but apparently we aren’t ready for that conversation.

This EP left didn't leave much of a impression on me at all. I just felt nothing while listening to this. Before this review, never listened to Loona ever, so this EP was a first impression for me, and I had high hopes for it honestly, but it kinda left me empty.

"12:00" just felt weird, just didn't know what it was trying to be? Was it trying to set the tone? It all led up to a beat drop but ... read more
Red Velvet syndrome

12:00 shows Loona going two for two in creating a remarkably mediocre A-side, but saving it with a gorgeous lineup of B-sides - each of which encapsulate the breathtaking vocals of some of the best female idol vocalists currently active.

Regardless, their second sound detour proves to be a far greater experiment in identity compared to their last project [#], and still consistently shows them pushing the boundaries of what KPop needs to sound like to be marketable to the ... read more
