Taking everything that’s brilliant about Yungblud and amplifying it, album two is Harrison at his most extreme. It’s exactly where he belongs, too. Yungblud’s never seemed more inspiring or vital as he proves himself as one of the most important rock stars around. ‘weird!’ really is wonderful.
In 2020, YUNGBLUD is less a confused newcomer and more a ringleader to the greatest show in town. A circus where he performs every act and the final, show-stopping number, it’s less about individual sounds and more about the emotion contained within.
YUNGBLUD has indeed struck gold on weird!. The album expertly balances referencing the worst parts of society while taking part in an uninhibited celebration of the self and calling out to fans to do the same.
Overall, Weird! is an energetic breath of fresh air that doesn't sacrifice heart or a hopeful, supportive message, adding another jewel to Yungblud's crown as princeling of the outcast masses.
A rallying cry for alt-pop insurgency, at its over-sharing best ‘WEIRD!’ firmly places YUNGBLUD as a dazzling Catherine wheel of Top 40 deviancy.
Catchy, competent, and energetic, ‘weird!’ will probably succeed with Yungblud’s established listeners and secure broader appeal too – but listen too long and your eyeballs start to feel like they’re four feet in front of your face.
For all but those with the sweetest tooth, Weird! is a collection of good moments disappointingly hidden under an avalanche of sugar.
Pop-punky Brit singer's second album sounds fizzy and enormous but lacks rebel spirit.
I'm guessing a 14 year old emo girl runs NME?
I said before that I was going to seriously review this as I've seen only shitposts for this, but holy shit this was so bad I couldn't properly review it.
I can't stress this enough.
DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS. IT IS NOT ENJOYABLE IN THE SLIGHTEST.
Yungblud brings nothing new to the table, except for his annoying ass vocals. He has 0 strong-suits, his songs are overproduced, and I have to mention again, the VOCALS ARE HORRID. If you can look behind ... read more
Yeah you are weird when you are a walmart matty healy that tries too hard to look like billie joe armstrong. You also fail miserably in sounding like gerard way.
You are not different and you are not weird. This is the most generic album that I've listened to in a long time.
No wonder the class thot who thinks she is special tags him on ig.

Bruh people really be shittin on the 14 year old girls in here. Welp call my ass (21 yr old guy) a hated 14 yr old girl too, because this is his best album to date.
Its a good listen, but you have to be into this sort of thing. Like if you think that any modern artist who tries to branch into pop punk sucks and think waterparks fell off IMMEDIATELY after Double Dare, then this shit is NOT FOR YOU, and you probably shouldnt have reviewed this in the first place.
However if you like some pop ... read more
