I'm predicting a critical and commercial success here. I don't want to go in-depth of the album as I don't know them as much as some other K-Pop groups that I would write a review on, but that won't affect my opinion that, yep, Issa Banger.

The energy is consistently upbeat, as dance-pop and electro-pop absolutely dominates as the prominent sound here. SM Entertainment do in fact have their idols produced in a factory (There's no need to fact check, bro trust me), so singing is as usual, ... read more

Honestly, this is surprisingly good. I've never been to big on the whole K-Pop genre like at all but this really did impress me.

The vocals on here sound really really good and the instrumentals used were good as well. I'm not really qualified to assess each vocalist here individually as I have genuinely no idea their names/voices but they're all really good. All of these songs are incredibly solid and pretty fun.

I guess they're kind of hated for their fans but they've achieved their goal regardless. I really wish they would have better lyrics and song concepts, which could really help out a ... read more

Track-by-track breakdown time because I'm too lazy to write an actual review! NCT is back twenty-three members strong (at this point, I think SM Entertainment clones attractive Asian singers in an underground laboratory) with their second studio album. It's not the danceable banger-fest sequel to 2018 EMPATHY that I was expecting - bar a few shouty choruses, RESONANCE Pt. 1 is actually one of their more laid-back releases.

Make A Wish (Birthday Song) is your standard aggressively charismatic ... read more
